You should listen to/read the lyrics for the song "Birthday" by Cruxshadows.Although being a gothic band, their music reverses a lot of stereotypes put on darkwave/industrial music.Alot of their songs and lyrics are very inspiring and/or uplifting and deal with a mythology that they made up and also pull stories from mythology.They blend guitars, violins, synths and drum machines along with vocals into their music to create something new.Their "Best Of" CD comes out in 2008. (they have been active since 1993, and I have been a fan since 2003)
