This poem is a re~post that was inspired by Yardy. She went lurking way back in my blogs and she inspired me to re~post this by saying this "This is like the perfect thing for people to read when they first join your friends list.:)" Her words. So I decided to repost it and welcome you all to the middle of nowhere...again.

I wrote that poem last December when I was at a health convention for my job. I think I was supposed to be learning something, but I blogged in my notebook to keep me awake instead. So thanks Yardy for blog-reminiscing with me

For the Storm Is Over

Calm winds on the prairie
Blew through my hair
As the sun shined on me and
Made me glow from within
The wind subsided
Calmness thickened and boiled over
The glow was gone and my heart cried
The thunderhead rolled in
Thunder beings warned me
I did not listen to them
Instead looking for calm
I found the storm
Funnel clouds haunted me
Lightning crashed my heart
Rain hid my tears
I was broken down
To think I was
Nothing
Then the sun came back
And warmed me
Inside and out
Calm, cool winds caressed me
And my heart
Felt whole again
For the storm is over.

on my needle
invisible to the naked eye
you would never know
unless I showed you
It's not perfect
nothing in this world is
which is the reason for
putting that misplaced bead
where it does not belong
because nothing in this world
